European Commission approves a Polish State aid scheme worth around €486 million to support cereal producers

27/05/24 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 27 May, the European Commission announced that it had approved a Polish State aid scheme worth around €486 million (PLN 2.1 billion), notified under the Temporary Crisis and Transition Framework, to support cereal producers who risk losing their financial liquidity as a result of the difficulties on the agricultural market caused by Russia’s war against Ukraine.
