EEB proposes new ‘Green and Social Deal’ combining environmental concerns with social and economic priorities

On Monday 13 May, to mark its fiftieth anniversary, the European Environmental Bureau (EEB) published a proposal for a new ‘Green and Social Deal’ in the run-up to the European elections in June.

“The European Green Dealwas a starting point, catalysing part of the transformational change we need, strengthening the EU’s international credibility. (...)We should move further. Don’t stop now!”, said Patrick ten Brink, EEB Secretary General.
