Eurojust helps crack down on criminal network that stole €2.5 million worth of historical works across Europe

26/04/24 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 25 April, the European agency for judicial cooperation, Eurojust, announced its support, in collaboration with the European criminal police agency, Europol, for the Lithuanian, French, Latvian, Polish, Swiss and Georgian authorities in an international operation against an organised criminal group involved in the theft of 170 books of historical and cultural value, valued at €2.5 million.
