The European Commission has launched a 12-week public consultation, from 25 April to 18 July 2024, to gather opinions on the ecodesign and energy labelling of computers.
According to the institution, ecodesign regulations have proved effective in improving products’ environmental performance, ensuring compliance with minimum requirements, and gradually eliminating low-performance products from the market.
