The Chinese company CRRC Qindao Sifang Locomotive Co., Ltd. has withdrawn its bid for the Bulgarian public contract to supply electric trains. This bid was the subject of an in-depth investigation opened on 16 February by the European Commission (see EUROPE B13352A4), which suspected the Chinese company of having benefited from unfair foreign subsidies.
