15/03/2024 (Agence Europe) – Kolbrún Benediktsdóttir took up her duties as Iceland’s first Liaison Prosecutor at Eurojust, the European Union’s judicial cooperation unit, on Tuesday 12 March. This post, the result of an agreement signed in 2005 between Iceland and Eurojust, aims to facilitate the fight against cross-border and organised crime.
