The President of the Eurogroup, Paschal Donohoe, visited Bulgaria on Friday 15 March. He held talks with the Bulgarian President, Rumen Radev, the Acting Prime Minister, Nikolai Denkov, the Acting Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mariya Gabriel, and the Minister of Finance, Assen Vassilev. Paschal Donohoe talked about the prospect of Bulgaria joining the euro area in 2025.
