13/03/24 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 13 March, the Member States’ ambassadors to the EU (‘Coreper’) approved the provisional agreement reached last week between the European Parliament and the EU Council on the regulation banning products made using forced labour(see EUROPE B13364A7). Germany voted against the agreement and Hungary and Latvia abstained. The text must now be approved by the European Parliament, probably during the last session of the legislative cycle in April. (LM)
