European Parliament supports increasing modal shift to rail

At its plenary session on Tuesday 12 March, the European Parliament adopted its negotiating position on the regulation governing the use of railway infrastructure capacity (see EUROPE B13363A9, B13364A28), with 565 votes in favour, 14 against and 37 abstentions.
