On Tuesday 5 March, the European Commission published an implementing regulation requiring new battery electric vehicles imported from China to be registered in the EU from 6 March. This measure is being taken as part of the anti-subsidy investigation into these vehicles launched in October 2023 (see EUROPE B13264A21).
