01/03/2024 (Agence Europe) – On Friday 1 March, the Aerospace, Security and Defence Industries Association of Europe (ASD) announced that, following approval by its Board, it had welcomed the Lithuanian Defence and Security Industry Association (LDSIA) as a new member. LDSIA joined on 29 February. LDSIA is the first Baltic region to join the ASD, which now has 49 members, including 24 associations representing more than 4,000 companies in 20 European countries. “Our membership will not only enrich the diversity of perspectives within the ASD but also offer valuable insights and expertise from the Baltic region”, said LDSIA CEO Vaidas Sabaliauskas. Founded in 2014, the LDSIA brings together and represents 100 Lithuanian and foreign companies operating in the field of defence and security in the country. (CG)
