Member States approve Net-Zero Industry Act (NZIA)

16/02/24 (Agence Europe) – On Friday 16 February, the Committee of Permanent Representatives of the Member States to the EU (‘Coreper’) approved the provisional agreement on the Net-Zero Industry Act (NZIA), reached two weeks earlier (see EUROPE 13344/4, 13351/12). MEPs can now vote on the text in turn. The European Parliament’s Industry Committee will do so on Thursday 22 February, before a vote during the final plenary session of the term in April.
