EU wants to sign a memorandum of understanding with Uzbekistan on raw materials

26/01/2024 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 24 January, the Member States’ ambassadors to the EU authorised the Commission to negotiate a Memorandum of Understanding with Uzbekistan on critical raw materials. The aim is to establish a strategic partnership on raw materials. The EU has negotiated several agreements in this area with countries such as Argentina, Canada and Kazakhstan. (LM)
