European Parliament calls on EU Council to resume discussions on ‘Single European Sky’ and European Aviation Safety Agency

In a letter dated Thursday 30 November, MEPs and negotiators from the European Parliament called on the EU Council to continue negotiations on the revision of the ‘Single European Sky’ and the regulation on the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).

This letter comes after the latest inter-institutional negotiations (trilogue) were blocked, during which the Spanish Presidency of the EU Council did not have a negotiating mandate (see EUROPE B13294A13).
