Experts and stakeholders still divided on relevance of digital euro project

MEPs of the European Parliament’s Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs (ECON) debated, on Tuesday 28 November, the Commission’s proposal on the digital euro(see EUROPE B13211A11). Luděk Niedermayer (EPP, Czech) said that Parliament was currently preparing an opinion on the proposal.
