EU calls on Burkina Faso’s transitional government to shed “all possible light” on civilian massacre

13/11/23 (Agence Europe) – On Sunday 12 November, the European External Action Service (EEAS) reacted strongly to a massacre in the centre-north of Burkina Faso that killed “nearly a hundred civilians, including women and children” in the village of Zaongo, in the centre-north region of the country. “The European Union calls on the transitional authorities to shed all possible light on the circumstances of this massacre in order to determine who is responsible”, said the EEAS...
