Presidency of EU Council is sounding out Member States on distribution model and accessibility of digital euro

This week, EUROPE is publishing several working documents (see EUROPE B13282A8, B13283A3), sent to the delegations of the Member States by the Spanish Presidency of the EU Council, concerning the digital euro project.

These documents provided input for the work of the EU Council working group, on 24 October, on the European Commission’s proposal to provide a legal framework for the digital euro, should it be launched (see EUROPE B13211A11).
