Italy and Finland to vote against new regulation on fisheries controls on 13 November

The Committee of Permanent Representatives of the Member States of the EU (Coreper) is expected to confirm its agreement on the new fisheries control regulation in the near future.

The EU Council of Ministers will adopt the text without debate on 13 November, with Finland and Italy voting against and Latvia and Portugal abstaining (see EUROPE B13273A24).
