Four new directors appointed to several Directorates-General

On Wednesday 27 September, the European Commission decided to appoint Christoph Kautz to the Director of Satellite Navigation and Earth Observation post within the Directorate-General for Defence Industry and Space (DG DEFIS). The effective date of the appointment will be determined at a later date. Christoph Kautz, a German national, is currently Head of the Secure Connectivity, Space Surveillance and Applications Unit at DG DEFIS.
