Harmonisation of GDPR rules, European Data Protection Board considers time taken to resolve disputes to be too long

22/09/23 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 19 September, the European Data Protection Board (EDPB) adopted its opinion on the harmonisation of the application of the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). In its report, the EDPB calls in particular for the mechanism for resolving disputes and conflicts between the competent authorities to be clarified and for the conditions for the admissibility of complaints to be harmonised.
