12/09/2023 (Agence Europe) – The High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, will receive the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, and the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, in Brussels on Thursday 14 September as part of the Serbia-Kosovo dialogue. Separate meetings between Mr Borrell and the two Western Balkans leaders are planned, prior to a joint trilateral meeting. Discussions will focus on the implementation of the agreement on the path to normalisation and current issues. Against a backdrop of tensions between Belgrade and Pristina (see EUROPE 13234/23), meetings have taken place in Brussels in recent months. In June, the parties tried to find a solution to stem the violence in northern Kosovo, but positions remained far apart (see EUROPE 13208/4). (TM)
