European Commission gives green light to a €7 million aid scheme for sheep and goat farmers in Cyprus

20/06/2023 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 20 June, the European Commission announced that it had approved a €7 million aid scheme in Cyprus to support sheep and goat farmers. The aid scheme was notified in the context of Russia's military aggression against Ukraine. The aid will reach eligible businesses in the form of direct grants limited to €250,000 per beneficiary until 31 December 2023 at the latest.
