Commission releases new financial aid for Sudan

19/06/2023 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 19 June, the European Commission pledged a total of €190 million in humanitarian and development aid at an event in Geneva to support the humanitarian response in Sudan and the region, according to a press release. “Out of the total new EU aid package, €52 million is allocated in humanitarian assistance in Sudan to support the most vulnerable caught up in the crisis.
