EU Council conclusions on safety of LGBTI people rejected by Hungary and Poland

At its Justice and Home Affairs (JHA) meeting in Luxembourg on Friday 9 June, the Council of the European Union did not adopt the conclusions on the security of LGBTI people. Despite the support of 25 Member States, they were eventually converted into ‘Presidency conclusions’.
