Professionals concerned about shape of EU initiative on aggressive tax planning

European experts discussed the fight against tax optimisation on Tuesday 30 May at a conference organised by the EU Tax Observatory. Michael Schick, Head of Office at theEuropean Federation of Tax Advisers (ETAF), has shared his concerns about the ‘SAFE’ initiative, which addresses the role of intermediaries in enabling tax avoidance and aggressive tax planning (see EUROPE B13143A15).
