EU Council appoints Luigi Di Maio as EU Special Representative

15/05/2023 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 15 May, the EU Council appointed Luigi Di Maio as the European Union’s first Special Representative for the Gulf region, the Swedish Presidency of the EU Council announced (see EUROPE B13171A35). Luigi Di Maio, 36, is a former Italian foreign minister.
