27/02/2023 (Agence Europe) – On Friday 24 February, the European Union condemned the approval by the Israeli authorities of plans to build more than 7,000 housing units in settlements across the occupied West Bank. “This exceeds the total number advanced during all of 2022, which was a record year in terms of illegal settlement expansion”, a European External Action Service spokesperson said.
