16/02/23 (Agence Europe) – The European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) announced on Wednesday 15 February the launch of the EITFood 2023 entrepreneurship programmes. These programmes aim to support young innovative agri-food companies addressing food system challenges. The three programmes support the different stages of company growth: the EITFood Seedbed incubator tests the market potential of innovations, the EIT Accelerator Network supports business acceleration and market technology validation, the EITFood RisingFoodStars Association supports innovators’ access to the market. Selected companies will receive up to €500,000 in funding from the EITFood, external funding from the EITFood investor community, technical support and mentoring.
