European Public Service Union disappointed by European Commission proposals on strengthening social dialogue

The European Public Service Union (EPSU) is disappointed with the Commission’s Communication and draft Recommendation on strengthening social dialogue (see EUROPE B13107A1), presented on 25 January.

“We are disappointed the Commission does not propose a clear framework on how to bring forward (European) social partner agreements to make them binding in the EU”, said Jan Willem Goudriaan, EPSU Secretary General, in a statement on 26 January.
