EU Member States close to agreement on price capping of Russian refined oil products

27/01/2023 (Agence Europe) – The Member States of the European Union are close to an agreement to cap Russian refined oil products (diesel, petrol, etc.) at $100/barrel and $45/barrel for refined products traded at a lower price than the reference prices (discount products), according to information gathered by EUROPE following a meeting of the Member States’ ambassadors to the EU (Coreper) on Friday 27 January.
