27/01/2023 (Agence Europe) – The World Trade Organization (WTO) Dispute Settlement Body has accepted the opening of two arbitration panels between the EU and China, following the EU’s request in December 2022 (see EUROPE B13079A23, B13088A20). The EU is critical of China’s export restrictions on Lithuanian products as well as its measures affecting European patent holders, and has not been satisfied in the two rounds of consultations. (LM)
