Members of European Battery Alliance adopt a joint statement on US Inflation Reduction Act

16/12/2022 (Agence Europe) – The European Battery Alliance (EBA) warns that the growth of the European battery sector could come to a halt, in a joint statement issued on Wednesday 14 December, particularly with the implementation of the US Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) (see EUROPE B12085A2) enacted in 2022. For the Alliance, the redeployment of European funds (REPowerEU, Recovery and Resilience Facility) needs to be accelerated. The battery sector must become a priority of the future...
