The Czech Presidency of the Council of the European Union has submitted a draft agreement (‘general approach’) on the proposal for a regulation on methane emissions reduction in the energy sector to the Member States, in preparation for the meeting of EU energy ministers on Monday 19 October (see EUROPE B13086A1).
