EU commits €125 million to expand universal health coverage in partnership with WHO

01/12/2022 (Agence Europe) – The European Union will invest €125 million in extending universal health coverage for the period 2023-2027, as part of a partnership programme with the World Health Organization (WHO). The partnership agreement was signed by the European Commissioner for International Partnerships, Jutta Urpilainen, and WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, on Wednesday 30 November, - the same day the European Commission unveiled its new global health strategy...
