Euro area inflation at 10.0% in November and unemployment at 6.5% in October

According to a flash estimate issued by the Statistical Office of the European Union (Eurostat) on Wednesday 30 November, euro area annual inflation is estimated at 10.0% in November, compared to10.6% in October.

It was highest in the Baltic countries (21.7% in Latvia and 21.4% in Lithuania and Estonia) and lowest in Spain (6.6%), France (7.1%) and Malta (7.2%). The price increase was 11.3% in Germany and 12.5% in Italy. Among the main components of inflation, energy is expected to have...
