Some 30 MEPs call on EU to sanction Wagner Group

01/12/2022 (Agence Europe) – Some 30 MEPs from 19 Member States and from the Renew Europe, S&D, EPP, ECR, Greens/EFA, ID and non-attached groups called on the EU, in a letter of 28 November to the President of the European Commission and the High Representative of the Union, to adopt sanctions against the Russian paramilitary organisation Wagner for its actions in Ukraine, but also in Africa.
