Czech Presidency calls on Member States to integrate gender equality in their economic recovery

On Friday 25 November, the Deputy Ambassadors of the Member States to the European Union (‘Coreper I’) approved the EU Council conclusions on “Gender equality in disrupted economies: focus on the young generation”. In particular, they are calling on Member States to integrate the dimension of gender into their national recovery plans, economic policies and measures that are being taken in the context of the war in Ukraine.
