Single women in EU are more affected than men by rising energy prices, says Eurofound

15/11/2022 (Agence Europe)Women are the hardest hit by energy price rises, according to a Eurofound study released on Tuesday 15 November by the European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC) on Equal Pay Day. Single mothers and single women in the EU are more likely to have problems paying their electricity bills than any other group, with 44% of the former and 31% of the latter expecting to have difficulty paying these bills in the next three months, compared to 26% of single men....
