‘FuelEU Maritime’, report by Jörgen Warborn adopted by European Parliament

On Wednesday 19 October, MEPs in Strasbourg adopted the report by Jörgen Warborn (EPP, Swedish) on the use of renewable and low-carbon fuels in maritime transport (‘FuelEU Maritime’) (451 votes in favour, 137 against and 54 abstentions) (see EUROPE B13045A24).

The content of the adopted report has not changed since its adoption in the European Parliament Transport Committee on 3 October (see EUROPE B13035A25), as all amendments tabled were rejected in plenary.
