EU extends sanctions against Ortega regime until mid-October 2023

13/10/2022 (Agence Europe) – The Council of the European Union decided on Thursday 13 October upon a one year extension until 15 October 2023 of the sanctions imposed on 21 Nicaraguan dignitaries who support the regime of Daniel Ortega and who are guilty of human rights violations against the population (see EUROPE B12865A2).
