Inflation is cutting CAP budget, says MEP Anne Sander

13/10/2022 (Agence Europe) – Anne Sander MEP (EPP, French) sounded the alarm on Thursday 13 October about the negative effects of high inflation on EU CAP funds. According to a study by Farm Europe, “inflation will cost the CAP budget almost €85 billion. Moreover, the European Commission has been constantly asking the CAP in recent months to meet new objectives that are not part of its primary tasks”, says Ms Sander.
