European Commission opens public consultation on future European Critical Raw Materials Act

30/09/2022 (Agence Europe) – As announced yesterday by Commissioner Thierry Breton (see EUROPE B13032A2), the European Commission launched a public consultation on Friday 30 September to prepare its legislation on raw materials. In its appeal, the Commission details the main pillars: - define European priorities and targets for defining ‘critical raw materials’; - improve risk monitoring and management and governance at EU level in this area; - strengthen European raw materials value...
