EMA recommends extending use of Covid-19 vaccine Spikevax as booster dose in adolescents

25/07/2022 (Agence Europe) – The Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use of the European Medicines Agency (EMA) announced on 22 July that it had recommended the extension of the use of the Spikevax vaccine following its meeting from 18 to 21 July. The EMA recommends extending the use of the messenger RNA vaccine produced by Moderna as a booster dose against Covid-19 to adolescents aged 12 to 17 years.
