On Monday 25 July, the European Commission adopted the €31.5 billion partnership agreement with Romania, which sets out the mobilisation of European cohesion funds for the country over the period 2021-2027.
The ESF+ fund will provide the Romanian authorities with €7.3 billion to facilitate access to employment, especially for young people, and to modernise the Romanian employment service. No less than €3.5 billion will also be used to promote social entrepreneurship.
