14/07/2022 (Agence Europe) – Small Business Standards (SBS) and the European Builders’ Confederation (EBC) published on Wednesday 13 July a document on the revision of the Construction Products Regulation (CPR) in which they list a series of recommendations to prevent the text from becoming too burdensome for SMEs. In particular, they propose: - clarification of the scope and definitions of the CPR; - harmonised standards that facilitate compliance by SMEs; - rationalisation of the information required between the declaration of performance (DoP), the declaration of conformity (DoC) and the CE marking; - a framework for notified bodies; - a market surveillance system.
