Eight months after the military takeover in Sudan, the EU and the Troika (Norway, UK and US) have taken note of the military’s stated intention to withdraw from the political scene as soon as the civilian parties have agreed to form a transitional government and called on Thursday 14 July for the fulfilment of this commitment made on 4 July by General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan.
