Brexit, green light for €27.5 million Danish support for fisheries sector

11/07/2022 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 11 July, the European Commission approved €27.5 million in Danish aid for the fisheries sector affected by the effects of the UK’s withdrawal from the EU. In force until 31 December 2023, the aid (from the Brexit adjustment reserve) will be granted to owners of Danish-registered vessels (direct grant) due to the cessation of their fishing activities.
