Path to the Digital Decade, EU Council and European Parliament will try to agree on cooperation mechanism and role of regions on 13 July

Negotiators from the European Parliament and the Council of the EU will meet on Wednesday 13 July for a second round of inter-institutional negotiations (‘trilogue’) on the programme setting out the Path to the Digital Decade to 2030 (see EUROPE B12954A35).

While agreements were quickly reached on some aspects, other issues remain unresolved. The negotiators will have to try to reach an agreement on several points, starting with the cooperation mechanism between the European Commission...
