22/06/2022 (Agence Europe) – EU leaders will have a short debate on Friday 24 June on the proposals from the Conference on the Future of Europe (see EUROPE 12976/21). However, in the opinion of several sources consulted, an ambitious outcome is not to be expected, nor is the European Council expected to take a position on calling a Convention to revise the EU treaties. According to draft conclusions dated 22 June, the EU27 is expected to recall the importance of informing citizens about the follow-up to the Conference’s recommendations.
