European Parliament approves Interinstitutional Agreement for International Public Procurement Instrument

09/06/2022 (Agence Europe) – After ten years of discussions and back and forth, the International Public Procurement Instrument (IPI) will finally come into force. The Parliament gave its green light on Thursday 9 June to the interinstitutional agreement reached on 14 March (see EUROPE B12910A8). The future regulation will allow the EU to restrict access to European public procurement to companies from countries that discriminate against European companies in their public procurement....
